Lease, Rent, Rent-to-Own, Lease Option

What’s the difference?
Rentals are typically for 30 days or less. Think AirBnB or vacation rentals.
Leases are typically for more than 7 months.
Our company focuses on annual leases only.
Rent-To-Own, Lease-Option, or Lease With Right To Buy are all pretty much synonymous.  The difference to look for is whether your payments are applied to principal build-up. Those are almost impossible to find anymore for a few reasons. But that’s ok, because the little bit of equity that would have been realized is not worth the discussion. We provide leases with the right to buy. Two separate components. You are leasing only and if you would like to buy later, talk to your mortgage professional for the strike price or buyout price.
